The Jenkins Law Firm was opened in Dallas, Texas after Robert E. Jenkins had spent many years working for large law firms. Robert was later joined by Deborah Boone, also a former big firm attorney seeking a better way to practice law. JenkinsLaw was founded on the principle that to be successful, an attorney must deliver high quality and cost-effective legal services while remaining committed to the purpose of the legal profession: to assist in solving problems.
JenkinsLaw strives to be the best value for fees paid and when it comes to litigation, we mean business. We do not send a demand letter threatening a lawsuit unless you are actually prepared to file a lawsuit, we do not file a lawsuit unless you are actually prepared to go to trial, and we do not go to trial unless we are prepared to win.
Our clients include financial institutions, business owners, property owners associations, and individuals. With the firm being blessed to have diverse clients, we in turn have a diverse practice in state and federal courts which includes a full range of the following:
Business & Commercial Litigation
Estate Litigation
Personal Injury Litigation
Professional Sexual Abuse Litigation
Employment Litigation
Collections and Recovery
Out-of-State Judgment Enforcement
Divorce
JenkinsLaw is prepared to assist you with commercial landlord/tenant disputes, evictions, foreclosures, and residential construction contracts, and can provide preparation of contracts, including prenuptial agreements, and legal representation in divorces.
With a level of experience and familiarity that only comes from repeated appearances in Texas courts, JenkinsLaw serves as local counsel for out-of-state attorneys who have matters pending in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. For example, JenkinsLaw is currently serving as local counsel on behalf of Plaintiffs in a class action securities case against Belo Corp. You can read recent media coverage of the case against Belo here: Suit Against Belo Can Move Ahead.
JenkinsLaw also provides a variety of independent services such as preparing a legal name change or simple will, defending criminal misdemeanor charges, and obtaining an expungement or non-disclosure of criminal records.
JenkinsLaw also maintains an ongoing practice representing Texas clients in matters pending in California courts.
